I joined gpfm as a Paraplanner in April 2015, leaving a role in the City for leafy Hertfordshire. My skills are best employed in direct technical support of a small team of advisers. I’m a details man, and enjoy the meticulous research and investigation required to find answers to clients’ financial planning needs. I also love assisting my colleagues with their queries and the opportunities offered by a small firm to discuss cases and arrive at the right outcomes.
This is what I’ve done…
I started my Financial Services career about 15 years ago, and have enjoyed it and learned a great deal. Aside from the experience, obtaining qualifications during my career has been important and I have been awarded the Diploma from the Personal Finance Society (DipPFS). I have worked in various companies in the City, most recently in Westminster with a Chartered firm working with high net worth clients, where I was primarily engaged in pension and income tax planning, whilst also learning about trust and inheritance planning. I joined gpfm to use these skills working for a dynamic and forward thinking company who can stretch my boundaries.
…And this is what I’m all about
I live in North Hertfordshire and divide my free time between visiting my friends and family, who are mostly flung far and wide across the country, and following my passion for live music, at both major festivals and intimate gigs. I’m also a sports nut and attend as much live cricket and rugby as I can squeeze in. Despite my undeniable ginger hue, I love the sun and try to fit in a hot holiday every year.
