As part of the Client Services team at gpfm, my role is to work closely with the Advisers and Paraplanners and provide administrative support to ensure our clients receive the best possible service.
This is what I’ve done…
I began my career in the financial services industry in 2012 as an apprentice at gpfm financial planners. After completing my apprenticeship and becoming a full time administrator I decided in 2015 to try a different career path.
I worked as the store manager for a designer retail company and then for a large construction company in the fleet department (and got to drive lots of lovely cars around!).
After some time I realised I wanted to have a career in financial services and I started working for an Independent Financial Advisers, gaining further knowledge in the financial world. I got the great opportunity to re-join gpfm in May 2018.
I have recently passed my third CII exam which means I have now achieved the Certificate in Regulated Financial Services Operations. I am now continuing to study for further exams in order to obtain the full diploma and progress further here at gpfm!
…And this is what I’m all about
My weekends consist mainly of spending time with my friends and family. I love going out to dinner and trying new restaurants as nothing will compare to my love of food!
I love a weekend city break and want to visit as many of the world’s wonderful cities as I can, Prague being one of my favourites so far.
In the summer months, you will find me camping in the English countryside where I try to spend as many weekends as I can, exploring the most beautiful places this country has to offer. My favourite place to be is on the coast of Cornwall, if you’re lucky enough to get the right weather it can easily compete with being abroad!
