Meeting with Clients during COVID-19

At gpfm, the safety of our colleagues and clients is our top priority and we ensure it, not only by continuing to adhere to government guidelines but also taking every extra precaution to maintain health and safety.

What are the current government guidelines?

You can find the government’s full COVID-19 advice here, but here are the important points regarding meeting or gathering in groups:

  • Outdoors – a maximum of 6 people from any number of households
  • Indoors – no more than 2 households but no maximum number of people
  • Social Distancing continues to be recommended – 2 metres if possible but no less than 1 metre
  • If anyone, or any member of their household, has any symptoms they should self-isolate for 14 days

What is gpfm’s approach?

We can continue to focus on providing a first-class client service by way of telephone meetings, virtual meetings or, if both the client and their financial planner is happy to do so, by face to face meetings.

Face to face meetings can be held outside or indoors at either the client’s home or another venue but to protect everyone, if the meeting is to be indoors, all participants are required to wear a mask.

At any meeting whether indoors or outdoors our Financial Planners will:

  • Use hand sanitizer before and after any meeting
  • Adhere to the social distancing requirements
  • Decline any offers of food and drink.

We would not support any face to face meetings with clients who have been advised to shield.

We will review this policy regularly and are always looking for ways to enhance what we can offer. We would like to thank you in advance for cooperating with us on these safety precautions.

If you would like to talk to a member of the team here at gpfm, please don’t hesitate to get in touch over email enquiries@gpfm.co.uk or call 01992 500261.
